Overview: Major capital improvement to existing property and structure.

Role & Key Contributions:

  • Facilitated communication between owner, architect and contractor in all phases of the project, from design to close out.

  • Value engineered and provided critical costs saving applications to variables in the construction process.

  • Managed change orders and RFI’s for quicker responses to ensure timeline was well adhered to. 

Project Details:

  • Developer: Smith/Foti Development

  • Location: 567 Kapahulu Avenue. Honolulu

  • Scale: 3,250 of gross leasable area added to existing property.

  • Program: Demolition of 2 dilapidated structures and additional GLA developed on first and second floors.

  • Completed: 2020–2022

Key Project Outcome: Successful delivery of a turn key asset to the developer/owner despite numerous unforeseen variables common in a value add redevelopment project.
